Over the last 11 years, iSmithers' November TPE conference has had a prestigious speaking panel and attracted a large number of influential delegates. With a turbulent economic climate affecting established TPE markets, TPE 2009 is calling for presentations that will offer insight to TPE manufacturers and end users into current and future TPE activity and markets. Last year delegates were treated to presentations from Dow Europe GmbH, Akzo Nobel Polymer Chemicals, PolyOne Th Bergmann GmbH, Arkema, Ticona, EVAL Europe and Nanocyl. Speakers presented detailed technical papers on the commercial aspects of TPEs, TPE developments, current progress in TPOs, TPVs, Copolyamide TPE, Copolyester TPE, TPUs and TPE additives.
This year papers are invited on an a variety of topics, including; an insightful TPE market outlook, case studies of TPE end user requirements, TPE materials with performance characteristics and special applications, new additives and processing technology developments. For more detail on the specific topics that iSmithers is welcoming papers on, please go to www.polymerconferences.com and see the Call for Papers that is available to download from the TPE webpage. Speakers at TPE 2009 will be able to raise the profile of their company's activity by presenting to a room of senior technical managers, maximise their networking opportunities as delegates always network with speakers following their paper and potentially make business contacts that will benefit speakers and companies for years to come. All presenters at TPE 2009 will automatically be entered into the 2nd iSmithers Best Paper award, which has a €1000 cash prize. Throughout 2009, speakers at iSmithers conferences are entitled to free registration for both days of the conference, a copy of the conference proceedings, lunches and added value sponsorship packages. TPE 2009 also offers companies the chance to raise their profile in this increasingly competitive industry by sponsoring the event. Sponsorship packages can include pre-conference marketing, a significant on-site presence at the event and post-conference publicity, for more information please go to the sponsorship pages at www.polymerconferences.com
