This machine utilizes a reciprocating screw extruder with a 2.500" diameter (63.5 mm), 24/1 ratio (L/D) feed screw providing over 200 pounds per hour of processing for HDPE resin. This machine is designed to satisfy the needs of the custom molder, as well as the high volume demands of the dairy/juice bottle market. Full automated systems for spin-trimming and handle de-flashing are available for turnkey production systems. Pull-up and Ram-down top finish systems are available, as well as clamp side shift capability. Single head systems can produce up to 5-gallon size articles, while the eight head unit can produce up to 4,800 8-ounce bottles per hour.
