SABIC unveils HDPE grade family for industrial containers

SABIC's High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) portfolio has been expanded bringing a new grade family for blow moulding applications within industrial containers: SABIC® HDPE Industrial Container Product (ICP). The SABIC® HDPE ICP range, the company says, offers an excellent combination of stiffness impact and environmental stress crack resistance and demonstrates a superior consistency and processing performance. Further, the new HDPE range can be applied within the production of United Nations-approved jerry cans, open head drums and fuel tanks. In the short term, the company is positive to expand this new SABIC® HDPE ICP range with grades for tight head drums and intermediate bulk containers.
