04-Jun-25 Avient Corporation, an innovator of materials solutions has announced the availability of Colorant Chromatics™ PVDF Processing Aids, specially formulated to improve the melt processing of polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) resins.
These high-performance processing aids can enhance production efficiencies during PVDF extrusion. They can reduce or eliminate die build-up for cleaner, more consistent extrusion. They can also minimize defects and prevent melt fracture (sharkskin) to provide a high-quality surface in the final product. Using these specialized PVDF processing aids also increases line speed to boost production efficiency and lower total energy consumption.
They deliver lubricity during processing to reduce unwanted die build-up and enable a smooth surface finish, resulting in excellent performance and reliability.
Colorant Chromatics PVDF Processing Aids can be used for wire and cable, tube, pipe, and filament extrusion applications, among others. The additives are available globally.
