Toyo Engineering Korea awarded FEED contract for PT Chandra Asri's new polyethylene project

Toyo Engineering Korea Ltd., Korean subsidiary of Toyo Engineering group has been awarded a front-end engineering design (FEED) contract for a new polyethylene project of PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk (CAP). The project is to construct a swing plant of HDPE, LLDPE and mLLDPE with a total capacity of 400 000 tpa at the company’s existing petrochemical complex in Cilegon, Banten, Indonesia. Start up of the plant is expected in 2020, and will increase CAP’s total polyethylene production capacity to 736 000 tpa.
