The 8th edition of PLASTASIA-2025 (in association with PMMAI) was held at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre, Bangalore in Hall No. 4 & 5 from 9th to 12th May 2025. This was an event which promoted excellence in the field of PLASTICS. On display were the entire range of Plastic Processing Machinery, Accessories, Raw materials, Additives, Master batches, intermediates, blends and alloys and composites, a range of quality control and testing equipment, machinery for foams & welding machines, IT applications and ancillary equipment among others.

The Inauguration was held amidst a host of luminaries namely:

• Shri. M.V. Rajeev Gowda - Former member of parliament in the Rajya Sabha and a national spokesperson for the Indian National Congress.
  He also currently serves as chairman of the "Congress Research Department."
  Former Director of the Central Board, Reserve Bank of India.

• Shri. Tushar Parikh - Chairman, PMMAI & Director, Neoplast Engg Pvt Ltd.

• Shri. Saugata Chaudhuri - Head - Petrochemicals, HPCL.

• Shri. Bill Shukla - Director - PMMAI and CEO & Managing Director - Milacron India.

• Shri. H V S Krishna - Chairman - IMS Foundation.

• Dr. Jacob Crasta - Founder Chairman CM Envirosystems Pvt Ltd.

• Shri. Shiva Kumar R - President – Peenya Industries Association.

• Shri. M. G. Rajagopal - President – KASSIA.

• Shri. Cyril Pereira - Managing Director, TRIUME EXHIBITORS PVT LTD.

The main objective of the exhibition was to consolidate brand image, witness live demonstration, establish business contacts and last but not the least to explore the possibilities of concluding business deals. The Exhibition witnessed participation from several countries like Canada, China, Germany, Indonesia, Iran, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Taiwan and Vietnam. Separate Pavilion for China & Korea.

Apart from major leaders in the Industry, the event witnessed participation from MSME Segment of the Country. This was possible because of the subsidy provided by MSME.
