Emmbi is proud to announce a distinguished leadership milestone with the appointment of Emmbi's Chairman and Managing Director, Makarand Appalwar, as Vice Chairman of the Indian Institute of Packaging (IIP)—India’s premier packaging institution and an autonomous apex body under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, established in 1966.

For nearly six decades, IIP has played a seminal role in shaping the nation’s packaging standards, advancing research and innovation, and building world-class capabilities across industries, significantly contributing to India’s domestic and export growth.
