Worldwide manufacturer and marketer of chemicals, fibers and plastics, Eastman Chemical B.V. announced recently the opening of a representative office in Moscow, Russian Federation. This aims to serve the company's expanding customer base in the Russian Federation and other CIS countries thereby obtain a stronghold in the region. As per an executive with Eastman, the region has a rapid economic growth and the company is well prepared to supply products with high level technical and logistical solutions to its customers in the region. The Moscow-based regional office will serve the Russian market with local expertise of the company than from the outside.
