Sealed Air, a global leader in shrink packaging materials and equipment is keenly reinforcing its environment friendly credentials and has plans to come out with new types of shrink films which slash the use of materials by 30% in production. The company has already manufactured shrink films with reduced thickness and high performance such as the 11-micron Cryovac® D955, the 13-micron Cryovac® IMPACT™ and the New 11-micron Cryovac® D-940. Further, it aims to reduce the weight and thickness of its products so as to make it more energy-efficient, lessen raw material use without compromising film performance.
