India’s ONGC sells July naphtha at 30% higher premium

29-Jun-12
India's Oil and Natural Gas Corp Ltd (ONGC) has sold a 35,000 ton July naphtha cargo to Gunvor at about US$19.50/ton above Middle East quotes on a free-on-board (FOB) basis, for July 14-15 loading from Hazira port, up about 39% compared to a sale for an end June cargo, as per Reuters. Seller sentiments have recently improved amid tighter supplies in Europe following run cuts and strong gasoline demand that are expected to limit Western naphtha exports to Asia.
