Vietnam to export its maiden propylene cargo

Vietnam is scheduled to export it's first-ever propylene cargo of 5,000 tons in H2-July to term contract buyer Marubeni Corp. of Japan, as per Platts Thursday. Marubeni is expected to transport the parcel in pressurized rather than refrigerated form, with the shipment likely headed for Indonesia or east China. Vietnam's first ever propylene plant with a capacity to produce 150,000 tpa is expected to vary the size of its propylene shipments.
