Iran's Bandar Imam Petrochemical Company (BIPC) registered exports of over 24,0000 tons of petrochemical products, resulting in a 5% rise in its export value which surpassed US$245 mln during a period of May 21 to June 20, the past Iraninan month. BIPC has a total production capacity of 7 mln tpa spread across 30 products and is considered a core of nation's petrochemical industry.
Propane and butane stood atop in the BIPC's export register dominating the share of exports. Among other highly exported commodities were ethylene, pentane plus, parazylene, benzene and DPG.
