The region's wire and cable customers can look forward to this year's start-up of Borealis' new 350,000 tpa high pressure low density polyethylene (LDPE) plant in Stenungsund, Sweden, and modernisation and streamlining of associated facilities at the plant. To meet increasing demand for medium and high voltage cross-linked PE (XLPE) power cables in Russia, Borealis will present Wire Russia 2009 visitors its on-going technology developments designed to increase productivity, and achieve cost reductions and energy savings for manufacturers, while ensuring end-users receive the best quality cables.
