Burel Industries selects UNIPOL™ PE Process for two polyethylene lines at Kuantan

Burel Industries selected Univation Technologies’ UNIPOL™ PE Process for two polyethylene production lines with a combined capacity of 500,000 tpa at Gebang Industrial Park at Kuantan, Malaysia. The facility will cover a full range of linear low to high density polyethylene products and include Univation’s unique single-reactor PRODIGY™ Bimodal Catalyst and XCAT™ Metallocene Catalyst technologies. Facility start-up is scheduled for 2013/2014. “Univation is extremely pleased to be selected by Burel Industries as the polyethylene technology provider for their new facility.
