Naphtha prices remained elevated in northwest Europe due to continuing demand from the gasoline blending pool, whilst Eurobob gasoline drifted lower in thin trading, as per Reuters. Naphtha, replaced by petrochemical end-users by cheaper rival feedstock propane, has found support from gasoline blending amid the driving season. However, it is not easy to estimate how long this will continue. Gasoline components had been in pretty tight supply due to refinery maintenance, and that he was not seeing much U.S. grade gasoline around.
