CPC to build 80,000 BPSD RFCC unit and facilities at an investment of NT$38.9 bln

Taiwan’s CPC Corporation plans to invest NT$38.9 bln in building an RFCC (Residue Fluid Catalytic Cracking) unit with a capacity of 80,000 BPSD, along with related facilities. To be named No. 6 Naphtha Cracker and RFCC, the project will help streamline refinery configuration and boost value-added profiles. It is expected to come on stream by June 2012.
