The low density polyethylene unit at Dow Chemical's Bahia Blanca, Argentina, petrochemical complex remains shut two days after an explosion and fire at the unit, as per a spokeswoman in Platts.
Dow is actively conducting an inquiry into the cause of the incident. The explosion and fire at the Bahia Blanca plant, about 220 miles from Buenos Aires, occurred on Tuesday.
