Dow Chemical plans to halt operation of a LHC-1 naphtha cracker at its Terneuzen plant in the Netherlands for maintenance between March 11 and April 25, a company spokeswoman told Reuters. Three naphtha crackers operate at the Dutch plant, and the ethylene-producing LHC-1 unit has the capacity to process 215 tons of naphtha per hour. The Terneuzen plant has the capacity to produce around 1.8 mln tpa of ethylene.
