A drastic increase in feedstock and transportation costs over the past few months have triggered a prioce increase announcement by DuPont Packaging & Industrial Polymers. Price adjustments are needed to support the continuous reinvestment in product development and research.
DuPont Packaging & Industrial Polymers has announced a price increase for its ethylene copolymer product line. An increase of 6 cents per pound for ethylene vinyl acetate products and 8 cents per pound for all other products in the ethylene copolymer portfolio will take effect globally effective November 1, 2007, or as contracts allow.
