Eastman files suit against Indorama to protect IntegRex Technology

Eastman Chemical Company uses the the innovative IntegRex technology for the production of PET. This technology developed by the company is protected through a solid patent portfolio. Eastman has filed a lawsuit against Indorama companies located in the United States, Europe, and Thailand in connection with their unauthorized use of IntegRex technology. The complaint alleges breach of contract, trade secret misappropriation and patent infringement. Eastman alleges Indorama of unauthorized disclosure and use of information covered by a license agreement between Eastman and several European Indorama entities. The patent infringement claims relate to three Eastman patents that encompass PET manufacturing technology
