FIBC Producer Emmbi Industries receives Golden Peacock Award for Eco-Innovation

Emmbi Industries Limited, India's leading FIBC and woven bag producer, was honoured for the invention of 100% Recyclable FIBC Bags, which was achieved by using TexturePro technology. Emmbi was conferred with the coveted and prestigious Golden Peacock Award for Eco-Innovation 2020. The Award ceremony was virtually hosted by the Institute of Directors on December 15, 2020.

The company was awarded this honour for development of 100% Recyclable FIBC Bags. This was achieved by using TexturePro, a technology developed at the Emmbi Innovation Lab. TexturePro uses a single homopolymer for the entire bag i.e a single polymer for the fabric, threads, belts and loops, This technology does away with using different materials for each part as is traditionally done, making it simpler to recycle.

The prestigious award was virtually accepted by Makrand Appalwar, CMD on behalf of Emmbi Industries Limited.
