The Asian isomer-grade mixed xylenes-naphtha spread spiked to a 52 month high of US$391.12/mt at the end of last week, while isomer-MX prices surged to a 37 week high of US$1365/mt FOB Korea on strong downstream paraxylene, as per Platts. The last that isomer MX-naphtha spread was assessed higher was on May 10, 2007, at US$395.25/mt.
