India's gas utility Gail, in partnership with Reliance Industries Ltd., has decided to build a mega petrochemical complex in gas-rich Qatar. Investment outlay of over US$1.3 bln has been earmarked for the project. Last year, GAIL had signed a memorandum of understanding to jointly set up a 2 mln tons capacity gas-based petrochemicals plant.
