Heurtey Petrochem has signed an agreement to acquire 100% of the independent US based Petro-Chem Development Co Inc. to form the world's largest independent leading Group specialized in design and fabrication of process fired heaters dedicated to the hydrocarbon industries. This acquisition gives the capacity to the new Group to deliver a wider global offer to the market. In particular, Heurtey Petrochem shall bring its expertise in design and supply of cracking furnaces and steam reformers to the ethylene and hydrogen North American market, while Petro-Chem Development shall bring to the group its technologies and know-how in the treatment of heavy fuels for the refining processes.
