South Korea's Honam Petrochemical Corp. plans to shut down its 720,000 tpa ethylene naphtha cracker for one month for planned maintenance. The shutdown will span from end-September to the end of October.
This turnaround is expected to affect spot naphtha demand for August and September, amid a weak Asian market facing low demand and high supplies.
