South Korea's Hyosung Corporation proposes to invest in a polypropylene (PP) manufacturing plant in in Ba Ria Vung Tau province of Vietnam, as per fibre2fashion.com. The plant which will be set up on an area of 608,910 sq. metres will be set up in two phases. The investment outlay for the first phase of the 300 mln tpa plant is expected at US$336 mln. Investment in the second phase is estimated at US$$226 mln for a capacity of 300,000 tpa for another PP plant.
