India's proposed 15 mln tpa refinery-cum-petrochemical project in Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh) may witness delay as Mittal Energy Investments-part of the five-way JV-have reportedly deferred its investment in the project. Besides Mittal Energy, Hindustan Petroleum Corp, Oil India, GAIL, Total SA are also a part of the Rs.50,000 cr project. The first round of pre-feasibility study for the project has seen completion while the second round of pre-feasibility is currently on.
