Idemitsu Kosan Co has shut two naphtha crackers at its Tokuyama plant, with total capacity of 623,000 tpa of ethylene on Tuesday night due to an unspecified problem, as per Reuters. Repairs are underway and operations are expected to resume within a few days. The facility is slated to be closed for regular maintenance in October-November.
