Japan's Idemitsu Kosan is looking to buy naphtha through a six-month contract starting January 2016, as per traders in Reuters. The tender came at a time when naphtha spot prices on a cost-and-freight (C&F) basis are in discount levels due to oversupply. The company could be looking to buy up to 300,000 tons of full-range naphtha for the six-month delivery period to Chiba and Tokuyama. The tender will close on Nov. 6, with offers to stay valid until Nov. 16.
