The Kolkata Chapter of Indian Plastics Institute (IPI) had its Silver Jubilee celebrations on April 30, 2010 at the Bengal Club, which was well attended by all the members and guests, including dignitaries from IPI HQ, Mumbai. Six senior members of IPI Kolkata Chapter were awarded FIPI Certificate in recognition of the extensive services rendered by them to IPI and Plastics Industry as a whole. These include Dr Subrata Ganguly, Mr Sourabh Khemani, Dr Nripati Ranjan Bose, Mr Ram Autar Lohia, Mr Ranjit Sen, Mr Amar Seth.
IPI is celebrating its Silver Jubilee year (2009-10) nationally with programs at all the 11 Chapters and 9 Sub-Chapters and with a grand finale at HQ in Mumbai on June 18, 2010, which is also the foundation day of the Institute, when it will actually complete 25 years of Education, Training and Services to the Plastics Industry.
