At an investment outlay of US$113 mln, South Korean chemicals producer Korea Kumho Petrochemical Co. has completed the construction of its first overseas plant in China. The plant, equally owned by China's Jiangsu GPRO Group and located in the city of Nanjing, will help tap demand from the rapidly growing Chinese market. Production at the plant will include 50,000 tons of polypropylene glycol, 80,000 tons of propylene oxide and 100,000 tons of caustic soda.
