Kuraray America Inc. has consolidated its North American assets, which include two Houston-area companies, and moved the corporate entity to Houston from New York. As a result of the consolidation, Eval and Septon have adopted the Kuraray America Inc. name.
Kuraray America Inc handles U.S. importing and sales for Japanese chemical manufacturer Kuraray Co. Ltd. Eval Co. of America, based in Houston, manufactures and sells ethylene vinyl alcohol copolymer resins in North, Central and South America. Septon Co. of America, based in Pasadena, manufactures and markets elastomers in the United States.
