Kuwait's Petrochemical Industries Company (PIC) started operations at a US$2 bln aromatics plant this week. The plant is currently operating at about 60-70% capacity, expected to reach 100% capacity by early December. Capacity includes 830,000 tpa of paraxylene and nearly 400,000 tpa of benzene can produce up to 1 million tpa of light naphtha.
