Almost 30 tons of liquefied carbon dioxide gas has leaked in South Korea's major petrochemical complex in Yeosu, enveloping the entire complex in smoke. However, no casualties have been reported and operations at the plant have also not been affected. A technical snag at a liquefied carbon dioxide gas storage tank owned by a local unlisted chemicals firm caused the leakage.
