Low viscous multifunctional isocyanate grade for PU-based adhesives

Huntsman Polyurethanes have developed a new new isocyanate with improved adhesive properties and medium functionality named SUPRASEC® 2330 for use in variety of rubber crumb applications including running tracks, playgrounds, sport surfaces and stable matting. The company claims the new isocyanate provides higher level of reactivity than comparable solutions and its fast curing characteristics make it suitable for use in production of shoe-sole, wood and construction adhesives, adhesives for general industrial use and laminating adhesives for the panel industry. The newly launched SUPRASEC® 2330 is expected to render more alternatives for formulators as far as creation of polyurethane-based adhesives is concerned.
