Russian oil company Lukoil plans to invest US$81.5 mln in seven projects at its Ukrainian petrochemical plant LLC Karpatnaftokhim, as per Ukrainian Journal. This year, plans are underway to overhaul heat supply systems at a cost of US$2.4 mln. There are plans to carry out two projects in 2014, including expanding process of gas to 35,000 tons per month using natural gas liquids as feedstock at a cost of US$9.3 mln and the installation of a fire fighting and fire alarm system at a cost of US$0.7 mln.
