Rotterdam headquartered LyondellBasell has started up its 30,000 tpa polypropylene (PP) compounding facility in Altamira, Mexico. The new facility will be adjoining the existing PP manufacturing facility operated by Indelpro, a JV of LyondellBasell. The newly developed PP compounding plant will derive the feedstock from the Indelpro facility in order to source high performance and high quality PP compounds to the region's automotive and appliance manufacturing base.
