Manufacturers of Packaging Material for Food and Pharma exempt from Lockdown

In its order dated 25th March 2020, The Ministry of Home Affairs of India has issued clarification on operation of customs and units exempt from lockdown to ensure continuance of essential services.

Customs clearance at at all ports will remain open with bare minimum staff. Manufacturing units of packing material for food items, drugs, pharmaceutical and medical devices can also operate subject to maintaining essential hygiene and social distancing.
