Mitsubishi delays maintenance at No.2 naphtha cracker at Kashima

Mitsubishi Chemical Corp plans to delay maintenance at the No.2 naphtha cracker at its Kashima plant, with capacity to produce 453,000 tpa of ethylene, as per Reuters. Maintenance will be delayed by about two months from its original plan of June 30. The company plans to restart the No.2 cracker around May 20 after it was damaged by a massive earthquake in March.
