Naphtha prices in Asia ended the previous week at US$943.50/ton while margins hit a four-session high of US$114.9/ton on lower shipments from Europe, as per Reuters. Over 350,000 tons of European naphtha is expected to arrive in Asia in October, sharply down from September arrivals of about 800,000 tons. Export volumes from India have been restored to about 750,000 tons of naphtha in October versus around 530,000 tons in September. However, these increased volumes will be quickly absorbed as petrochemical units continue to run a high rates in Asia.
