Following a spike in naphtha prices, Turkish petrochemicals producer Petkim announced a hike in polymer prices for the third time in two weeks, as per sources in Platts. At the end of the previous week, naphtha peaked to a two-month high of US$510.25/mt CIF NWE.
Petkim's polypropylene, low density polyethylene, high density polyethylene and polyvinyl chloride prices increased by US$25/mt, US$45-50/mt, US$35/mt and US$25/mt respectively.
