Biopolymer manufacturing company NatureWorks LLC has announced a new strategic partnership with Quimicoplasticos and QP Inc to distribute NatureWorks products in Colombia. This agreement signals NatureWorks' long term commitment to broadening the supply of Ingeo™ biopolymer resin - made using its proprietary technology to process natural plant sugars -for the packaging, foodservice and injection molding industries. The group of Quimicoplasticos and QP Inc. are able to supply most of the raw material needs of the plastic converters in Colombia, such as thermoplastic resins, pigments, additives and process aids.
