London's Royal Free Hospital researchers have developed a strong, flexible, and resistant to blood clotting artificial artery that pulses rhythmically to match the beat of the heart. The new bypass grafts, made from nano polymers can imitate the natural pulsing of human blood vessels, thus delivering nutrients to body tissues. The wall of these arteries is strong enough to withstand blood pressure throughout an individual's life.
