Global oil markets fell again on Wednesday, extending more than a week of volatility as traders jousted over whether a growing supply glut had been fully priced in, as per Reuters. Oil on the Nymex fell to US$55.8, in thin holiday trading, while front-month Brent fell to US$60.2. Data from USA showed crude inventories unexpectedly rose by 7.3 mln barrels last week to their highest December level on record. Analysts had expected a seasonal draw.
