India's ONGC Mangalore Petrochemicals Ltd has issued tenders to sell paraxylene and benzene from its new aromatics plant, as per Platts.
The under-construction plant at Mangalore is scheduled to come online in April-June 2013. The plant will have capacity to produce 900,000 tpa of paraxylene and 270,000 tpa of benzene, of which over 65% volume will be offered to the domestic market and the rest for export.
