A bid tender will be held online for the assets of the bankrupt PTA plant Shaoxing Yuandong Petrochemical Co., Ltd. as per ccfgroup.com. Yuandong PC has been evaluated at RMB 1,499,785,489 yuan. The auction includes seven parts, consisting of land use rights, buildings, production facilities, office equipment, inventory, transportation vehicles and intangible assets.
Shaoxing Yuandong Petrochemical was declared bankrupt since Mar, 2015. The PTA plant owns four PTA units, three with nameplate capacity of 600,000 tpa and a fourth that can produce up to 1.4 mln tpa. Yuandong Petrochemical was formerly known as Hualian Sunshine Petrochemical.
