PLASTI&PACK PAKISTAN - POWER OF INTEGRAL SECTORS
Pakistan's economy grew at 5.8% in 2008. The plastic industry is said to be expanding at an average growth rate of 20%. The per capita domestic consumption of plastic material is 2.9 Kg. Furthermore, the Import of Plastic Material has increased by 35% in 2008.
In light of the five successful exhibitions, the
6th International Plastic & Packaging Industry Exhibition (PLASTI & PACK PAKISTAN 2009), scheduled from
15 - 18 April 2009 will attract business professionals from across the globe while offering top level networking opportunities to its participants.
PLASTI & PACK 2008 had the participation of 150 leading names from the world's Plastic, Printing & Packaging and Food Technology industries, with representation of 18 countries. The event was attended by 10,000 business professionals from the related industries and received extensive media coverage.

Plasti & Pack Pakistan is poised to make a mark in the regional plastic and packaging industry. The show will provide a perfect platform for companies to interact with their counterparts, forge new alliances and strengthen the existing business relationships. Participation of more than 200 companies is expected from countries like China, Germany, Greece, Italy, Malaysia, U.A.E., U.K. and U.S.A.
Plasti & Pack Pakistan 2009 is supported by Board of Investment Government of Pakistan (BOI), Engineering Development Board (EDB), Taiwan Association of Machinery Industry (TAMI), and Gujarat State Plastics Manufacturers Association (GSPMA). Moreover the event will receive an extensive local as well as international media coverage including 15 international publications from countries like China, Taiwan, Argentina, India, Beirut and Pakistan.

International Food & Technology Exhibition (IFTECH PAKISTAN 2009), which is aimed at serving the closely integrated food industry of the region.
