Under the able guidance of its Chairman, Mr JR Shah, Plastindia 2015 organised a meet of its National Executive Committee (NEC) on August 6 and 7, 2014 at Hotel Hilton, Mumbai.
Over 30 Chairmen of different committees that steer one of the largest exhibitions in the world of plastics met and interacted over several sessions in these two days. The Chairmen, from across the country devoted invaluable time and provided valuable inputs that will ensure the success of the Plastindia 2015 to be held at Pragati Maidan in February 2015.
The meetings started on a high note with NEC Chairman declaring all the space as sold out thanks to the overwhelming response received from across the world.
Mr P R Singhvi, the Media and PR Committee Chairman updated the group on the several launch functions organised and the several pre launch and post launch events participated in.
Mr Ajay Desai, Chairman of Plasticon Awards summed up the enormous effort put in by his dedicated team in making this edition the largest ever.
Updates were provided by Proplast Chairman Mr Bhaskar, Innovation Pavilion Chairman Dr Prakash Trivedi, Education Committee Chairman Prof Shenoy, Directory and IT Committee Chairman Mr Achal Thakkar, as well as the Conference Committee, among others.
Mr R A Lohia, Chairman of Spot N Site and well as Online Visitor Registration Committee enthralled the gathering with an informative 3 D Walk Thru movie about the sites available at Pragati Maidan for Advertising. His announcement that this time the visitors who register online will get their passes delivered to their doorstep to avoid long queues at the fiar grounds was met with great optimism.
