In a bid to restore margins and stay in line with its innovation strategy, Borealis has announced an increase in prices of all polyethylene and polypropylene prices by €100/ton, with effect from January 25, 2010.
With effect from February 1, 2010, Dow Europe GmbH is announcing a price increase for polyethylene (PE) resins across the European, Middle Eastern, African and Indian regions, in an effort to recover its margins. Prices for all grades of its LDPE, LLDPE and HDPE resins have been increased by €100/ton.
