South Korea's Samsung Petrochemical will pre-schedule commencement of production in September or October at its newly improved 400,000 tpa purified terephthalic acid (PTA) line in Ulsan, as per Platts.
US$56 mln expansion of the 200,000 tpa line started in October 2010 and was earlier planned to be completed at the end of 2011.
